Harry Potter actress Emma Watson takes up #IStayHomeFor challenge
Emma Watson is one of the sensational actors in Hollywood who is now restricted to her home because of the quarantine mode activated all around the world.
Hollywood actors are taking part in #IStayHomeFor challenge amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Already, stars like Kevin Bacon and Demi Lovato has taken up this challenge. They explained why they are staying home amidst this virus outbreak. Now, Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has joined this list. She says that she stays home for her grandma, mother and best friend.
She held a placard and mentioned the people for whom she is staying at home. She said that her grandma is 70 years old, her mother is a diabetic patient and her bestie is a health care professional. Emma said that she is staying at home for them. In her Instagram statement, Emma wrote, "My grandma is over 70, so particularly vulnerable... My Mum is a type 1 diabetic and my best friend is a health care professional. #Istayhomefor them. Who are you staying home for? Sending love. E xxx. Thank you to @michelleobama for the tips."
Many other films and sports celebrities are taking up this challenge. Even popular footballer David Beckham participated in this challenge recently. They are urging people to take up the challenge and realize who they are staying home for. That helps us to urge of going out and confine to our homes.
On the work front, Emma Watson was last seen in the film Little Women. Directed by Greta Gerwig, this film featured Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen in the other lead roles. Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet and Laura Dern played the other pivotal roles in it. The film got nominated for six Academy Awards and won the award for Best Costume Design.
