It has been two years since we saw Anushka Shetty in a lead role on the big screen. Her last film Bhaagmathie had released during the Republic Day weekend in 2018. Now, after this long gap, Anushka is coming up with another female-oriented film called Nishabdham.
Touted to be a thriller, this film is being directed by Hemath Madhukar. The makers have earlier officially announced that the film will hit the screens on January 31st. But they haven't kickstarted the promotions till now. This has raised the speculations on the film's release. Now, according to the latest reports from the industry, Nishabdham will release on the 20th of February, on the eve of Maha Shivaratri.
Nishabdham features Anushka as a mute artist. Prominent actors like Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali, and Subbaraju have played the other important roles in the film. Popular Hollywood actor Micheal Madsen essayed a key role in this movie. Already, the makers have unveiled the character posters and the teaser of the film. All of them received a good response from the audience.
Now, the team will start the promotions in February first week by releasing the rest of the songs and the theatrical trailer. Nishabdham is being bankrolled jointly by Kona Venkat and TG Vishwa Prasad.
