Versatile actor Dhanush enjoys a decent market in Telugu as well. Though his movies don't have a simultaneous release in Telugu most of the time, they will able to perform decently at the box-office due to the presence of Dhanush. The actor has gained popularity here by scoring a super hit with Raghuvaran B. Tech. Since then, most of his films are getting dubbed into Telugu.
Now, another Dhanush's film is getting ready to test its luck at the box office. It is his recent release Pattas, directed by RS Durai Senthil Kumar. Pattas has released in Tamil Nadu last week and is having a good run at the box office. Now, it is getting dubbed into Telugu as Local Boy. The first look poster was out a while ago.
This film features Dhanush in a dual role and it has Mehreen and Sneha as the female leads. Both Dhanush and Durai Senthil Kumar have worked together earlier for the film Kodi. Its dubbed version, Dharma Yogi, had a good run in Telugu as well. Now, the duo is testing their luck with Local Boy. More details about the film's release will get announced soon.
