Here’s what Kollywood Actors have to say about the lockdown

To tackle the COVID-19 crisis, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has initiated a 21-day lockdown across the nation. Celebrities have been posting images and videos of their quarantine routines. Many Kollywood actors such as Malavika Mohanan and Vishnu Vishal too have taken to social media to express their views. They have all advised their fans to adhere to the precautionary measures and stay safe.

 
Actor Vishnu Vishal posted a video of him working out at home. He says that the lockdown is a good time to focus on his mental and physical health. He has advised people to set some goals and work on time. He adds 21 days is not that long if we break into smaller goals – 3 day goals times three! The actor is awaiting the release of his film Kaadan and the shooting of his other venture FIR. Both his projects have been shelved due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
 
Actress Malavika Mohanan who is set to debut in Vijay’s Master has taken to Twitter to stress on the importance of social distancing. She shared a picture of herself holding a card that reads #IStayHome for my Mom and Dad” with the caption "The health of my parents, my brother, my loved and close ones are my most important priority in life. Us being irresponsible and negligent puts them in danger of contracting harmful viruses."
 
Actor turned politician Sarath Kumar took to Twitter say that the first day of the lockdown happens to be the joyous day of Ugadi. He asks people to act responsibly and says that we can overcome this crisis. He wrote, ‘ Good morning, #Day1 of the shutdown in the country happens to be the joyous Ugadi. Let’s on this happy occasion rethink our lives, reinvent our culture, travel back on the time machine to feel the pure non-corrupt environment and nature. Even this will pass. Happy Ugadi #21daylockdown.”
