Heroine change for Kabadadhari Remake

We already know that Pooja Kumar got on board to play a crucial role in Sibi Sathyaraj and Nandita Swetha's upcoming movie, 'Kabadadaari' under the direction of Pradeep Krishnamoorthy.

But now, as per the latest reports, Suman Ranganathan is now replacing Pooja in this film. It seems like Dhananjayan Govind has adapted the screenplay of the film along with John Mahendran, and is also bankrolling the project. While talking about the film, he said, “Pooja couldn't be part of the film as she had to travel back to the US. So, we casted Suman instead and she had done the same role in the Kannada version. Als, this film will be like a comeback for her as she has appeared in a couple of films in Tamil in the 90s. When we approached her for that role, she was happy to come back into Tamil industry after a long gap".

Suman has already completed the shooting for her portions. "She appears in a song also. We shot it on a grand set erected in Chennai. Simon K King has composed music for that song. We are confident thag it will become one of the highlights of the film," says Dhananjayan.
