Kamal Haasan’s new film Vikram's pre-release business reports are out. The satellite and OTT rights of the film in different languages were sold for over Rs 200 crore. The film Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj is sold for a record pre-release rate.

The film is set for a worldwide release on June 3. Kamal Haasan earlier said that Suriya will play a guest role in Vikram. But Suriya's character may become an important full-length character in the sequel.
Vikram is ready with a star cast from south India. Apart from Kamal Haasan and Surya, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil will also be seen in the lead roles.
Anirudh Ravichandran has composed the music for the film. Ratnakumar and Lokesh Kanakaraj have penned the script for the film.
The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahad Fazil in Major roles. Within hours of the release of the trailer, it reached number one on the YouTube trending list. Apart from Kamal Haasan, Narain and Chemban Vinod are the other important roles. However, Fahadh and Sethupathi have strong characters alongside Kamal Haasan.
Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran produce the film under the banner of Rajkamal Films International. Anirudh Ravichandran composed the music for the film Vikram. Gireesh Gangadharan is the cinematographer. Lokesh Kanakaraj and Ratnakumar write the dialogues for the film.
