Hollywood star Will Smith went all praise for Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy

Post the film being screened at Berlin International Festival, Zoya Akhtar's ‘Gully Boy’ received a commendable response from the renowned international film critics. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer flick seem to have impressed Hollywood star, Will Smith who took to Instagram Story to share a video in which he praised the actor for his work.
 
And now Will Smith recorded a special message for Ranveer Singh on his Instagram story praising Gully Boy’s hip hop song. He congratulated Ranveer and said that his movie Gullyboy is reminding Will his old school hip hop and he is loving it.
 
The Instagram story video shows the ‘Men in Black’ star extremely excited who went all praises for the Gully Boy actor and said, “Yo Ranveer congrats man. I am loving what you’re doing with Gully Boy. For me, old school hip hop here seeing hip hop all over the world like that I am loving it, man, congrats Go Get em!.” The star is totally stricken by ‘Apna Time Ayega’ from Gully Boy. 
 
Lately, when Will Smith visited India he was joined by Ranveer Singh and producer Karan Johar. The trio has created ripples in social media with their photos circulated in social media. Michelle Rodriguez, the Fast and Furious actress also took to Twitter to congratulate Ranveer: “I remember when rap broke out of New York & made it to the Caribbean, my Brooklynn born bros would breakdance on cardboard boxes in the Dominican Republic, America had no clue how impactful this platform was going to be for the underdog worldwide. Beautiful.”
 
The half minute trailer released which shows Ranveer’s rap song in his own voice has swept across the nation since past few weeks. With his film Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh introduced the real hip hop culture to India. Released as the Valentine’s Day gift, the movie has left the everyone strung out to Ranveer Singh’s ‘Apna Time Ayega’.
 
The film has already opened to immense numbers at the domestic box office, raking in around Rs 19 crore at the box office on its first day.
