Reports suggest that the shooting of the much-awaited remake of Tamil film Vikram Vedha will begin in October. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the roles.
According to reports, the team along with Hrithik and Saif will travel to Serbia. The shooting of action sequences is set in Serbia and Georgia. After finishing the shooting in Serbia and Georgia, the team will return to India to shoot the rest.
Apart from Hrithik and Saif, Radhika Apte will play Khan's lawyer wife in the remake. The film is a noir thriller involving Vikram, a shrewd cop, and his partner Simon, who are on the lookout for Vedha. When Vedha surrenders voluntarily, he offers to tell Vikram a narrative, which throws Vikram's life into chaos.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the film will have its release on September 30, 2022. “The makers have decided to release Vikram Vedha remake on September 30, 2022. The film goes on floors soon and the team of the film is confident that it'll be ready by then. Also, it’s a great date since Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and Dussehra (October 5) both fall in the release week. This would ensure healthy footfalls translating into superb box office numbers;” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
Vikram Vedha is a thriller film written and directed by Pushkar–Gayathri. S Sashikanth produced the film under his banner Y NOT Studios. The film stars Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shraddha Srinath, Kathir and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles.
