The actor admitted to experiencing a drastic shift in his methods of acting. He also said he wants to dig deeper into the craft and learn newer methods. He even mentioned that he chose his role in Kaabil because he wanted to do something extraordinary.

He does not shy away from experimenting with new aspects anymore. For his look in War, Hrithik sported grey strands of hair. He said he embraced the greys and hence thought it would be a good idea. It was then the actor told the audience about his Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai look. He mentioned that at the time of shooting, he was transparent with his dad (Rakesh Roshan) about the types of shots he wanted.

He said that he wanted his look in the second half to be a sleek, gelled hair one with glasses. Rakesh Roshan did not agree with this idea in the beginning. This was because this look considered “nerdy” and not the typical hero kind. But, Hrithik took the help of his friends to convince his dad that the same “nerdy” look would suit the character. The actor said that it took a while, but soon his dad got on board with the idea and they went through with it.
