Suriya's new movie Soorarai Pottru releases in Telugu as Aakashame Nee Haddu Raa but there is no clarity on Kannada release. Apparently, there is a lot of demand for the film Soorai Pottru outside Karnataka. The buzz is that the rights of the movie got sold for a huge price, for the Telugu version. Suriya fans want the movie to get released in Kannada as well.
The movie based on the real-life incidents that took place in the life of Captain Gopinath, who founded the Air Deccan airline. Incidentally, Gopinath also hails from Karnataka and hence the makers want the film to get dubbed in Kannada, for the audiences and fans in Karnataka.
The fans recently posted a tweet to Harivu Creations asking, "@HarivuCreations Is There Is Any Chances To Bring The Movie #SooraraiPottru In Kannada Since The Story Is Based On Gopinath Who Was Born In Karnataka"
They replied saying, "Hi Team, We are putting all our efforts to reach out to production house and dub this movie to Kannada. For now, there is not much progress. As a passionate dubbing service provider, we put our hearts to get this movie in Kannada. We will keep you posted on this."
