Actor Varun Dhawan is admired by a lot of audiences through his exceptional portrayal of characters. Varun, now in his tenth year in the industry made his debut with the film Student of the Year. Karan Johar's teen drama was well received by the audience and thus, a star was born. Varun has managed to gain a significant amount fans through his intense roles like in Badlapur and October.
Now the actor talks about his career. Varun said in an interview with News 18 that he is not satisfied with his career
“I feel happy that I got the opportunity to play such a variety of roles but I am not satisfied. I believe the pandemic it’s like a restart for me. I feel like a newcomer and believe that I need to get back to doing things. But I wouldn’t want to do things in the same way. For the first eight years till the pandemic happened I would be stressed out while working. I was having a lot of fun as it was my age but at the same time, I felt very tense. Now I want to enjoy and do good content;" said Varun.
Varun Dhawan added that he wants to explore new things and he needs to evolve as an actor. “The society at large compels you to think that if you aren’t successful, you are a failure. These things affected my work and I had this introspection during the pandemic. I want to stay happy and do good work. I don’t want to have any kind of burden. As an actor, I want to explore new things because I believe if you do not try out different things, there will be no growth. You need to constantly evolve;” Varun Dhawan added.
