Malayalam star hero Nivin Pauly’s latest film Moothon had its Indian premiere last night at the MAMI International Film Festival. The screening had a packed house and after the film, a Q&A session happened under the curation of a popular critic Baradwaj Rangan.
The film’s cast and crew including director Geetu Mohandas, lead actor Nivin Pauly, actors Shobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora and Roshan Mathew were present at this post-screening session. When asked about the characterizations in the film, Geetu said that all the characters of the film are similar in their confusion and that makes it more appealing.
The crowd at the hall praised Nivin for his acting and asked his process of training for this role. The actor replied that the film is so intense, and this is the role that he has never done before. Thus, a lot of learning and unlearning has happened to do this character. Moothon was the opening film of this year’s MAMI.
