Actor and director, Prithviraj has revealed that he wants to act in films that he produces. In an interview with the Entertainment Times, Prithviraj talks about his role as a producer.
Prithviraj says that he has control over the quality of the films he makes, so he can do acting more easily. Prithviraj was responding to a question on whether it is easy to act in self-produced films or other films.
Prithviraj’s words:
“I found it easier to act in films produced by Prithviraj Productions. Because then the control of ensuring the quality of the image is in my hands. If things go wrong I can correct them. Supriya and I can make decisions about how much money to spend and how to move forward.
We must ensure that there is not even a substandard film from our banner. And whether the film succeeds or not is not under our control, but the quality of production is under our control. I will try to make sure.
So it is easy for me to act in films that I make. Because I can guarantee that the upcoming movie will have a minimum standard.
Production is not extra stress or a headache for me; in fact, my stress relief is when I get a chance to produce.”
The recent film Kuruthi is produced by Prithviraj Productions. Prithviraj played the lead role in the film.
