I want to be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial - Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt got the most indelible birthday gift yesterday as the director SS Rajamouli announced Alia to be playing one of the female lead in his upcoming Magnum Opus RRR. There were many rumors making rounds for few months in Telugu media that Alia was approached and she signed up for the project. Putting end to those speculations and making it reality Alia now playing the role of Seetha opposite Mega Powerstar Ramcharan. She does not know the language, but the actress is more than delighted to make southern cinema debut under the direction of SS Rajamouli. What can an actress ask for more bigger than debut than this?
Alia tweets her joy when makers announced her as heroine in RRR 'Today I feel truly grateful... Cannot wait to begin this beautiful journey with this stellar cast and massive team.. thank you, @ssrajamouli sir, for giving me this opportunity to be directed by you'. For which SS Rajamouli responded to Alia by saying 'Heard so much about your raising the bar to compete with the costars. Can't wait to see you do that in my film'. It quite compliments from India's top director to the actress.
Raazi girl is on a groove with consecutive successes and also she received applause from all the sides for her terrific performance in each role she played. She kicks off the year with a strong note with the movie Gully Boy entertained with her act as Safeena. She is gearing up for the release of Kalank co-starring with Varun Dhawan produced by Karan Johar. Alia shares her happiness 'I am working with the best directors. But I am still looking for more'.
When media asked what are your dream roles? she responded I would love to do an out and out mass masala film and also wanted to complete comedy flick. She intends not the banter sorta comedy but the purified comedy sorts. I think I have better comic timing, would be challenging and fascinating to do such roles. When asked about the directors whom you love to work with, she mentions I admire many directors. Because of my directors, I am at this stage. I have a special incline towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali, want to be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial and myself waiting for my father Mahesh Bhatt to direct a movie with me. That is my ultimate wish.
