I wanted my own biological child: Tusshar Kapoor on choosing surrogacy over adoption

Bollywood celebrities are best known for breaking social norms in various aspects. One of them is giving birth to children through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Karan Johar have become parents through this method. Actor Tusshar Kapoor is one of them. Tusshar Kapoor became a proud father in 2016 and named his son as Laksshya Kapoor. He says that just like everyone else, he wanted to have his biological child and that is why he didn't opt for adoption. However, the actor added that he might adopt in the future.

Tusshar recently attended as a celebrity guest to the radio show hosted by Kareena Kapoor. During the interaction, Kareena asked Tusshar why didn't he adopt instead of going through IVF. Tusshar said that if people who get married and have stereotypical families would like to have their own kids, why can't he think the same as a single parent? He further added that he might think of adopting another child in the future.
As of now, his son is the whole world for Tusshar. The actor often spends time with his son and celebrates every moment with that kid. Tusshar said that his family was very supportive when he took this decision. Not only Tusshar, but even his sister Ekta Kapoor gave birth to a baby last year through surrogacy.
On the career front, Tusshar was last seen in the film Golmaal Again. He will be next seen in the movie Laxmmi Bomb in which Akshay Kumar is playing the lead role.
