Amitabh Bachchan has always been in the news for something or the other lately. His fans, however, are in for a surprise right before the star appears in a grand event soon. This year in Goa, IFFI (International Film Festival of India) is all ready to screen a retrospective of Amitabh Bacchan's films. This will be the 50th edition of the film festival. Amitabh Bacchan also won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award earlier this year. Out of pure coincidence, he was also the 50th recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
IFFI will be beginning this retrospective with PAA (2009) as the opening film. The film festival will be focusing on the entire history of Bacchan's long career in Bollywood. And will also screen Sholay (1975) and Deewar (1975). Other films in the lineup are Black (2005), Piku (2015) and Badla.
Amitabh Bachchan is busy these days with KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) and is often in news concerning the popular quiz show.
