Watching a movie with live music is a whole different experience for the audience. Generally, we don't get a chance to watch films with live music, but the organizers of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), have given us that opportunity this year. A set of three classic films of different languages got selected and they will get screened with a live music performance by the master.
The three films are Sergei Eisenstein's Battleship Potemkin, Alfred Hitchcock's Blackmail and G.W. Pabst's Pandora's Box. All these films will get screened by a live music performance in the background. Three master filmmakers directed these gems and almost all cinephiles have watched these films by now.
But watching them with live music will give a unique experience and thus, we can expect packed house screenings for these movies. Recently, Telugu movie Baahubali also got screened with live music performance, in London.
IFFI celebrates its golden jubilee anniversary this year. IFFI 2019 kick-starts on the 20th of November and concludes on the 28th of November. Over 200 films from 76 countries will get screened in this nine-day film carnival. Thousands of delegates which includes movie buffs, critics, writers, film personalities will attend the festival.
