Effectively, the maker Kabir Khan is busy with his latest movie '83' which is based on the iconic 1983 Indian cricket team World Cup victory. The director of 'Tubelight' has even roped in the Bollywood's most noted pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to perform the crucial roles in the movie.

With the complete production team presently busy producing the London movie, director Khan seems to be very pleased with the acting abilities of Deepika, so much so that he wishes to sign another movie with the great actress quickly.
A source reveals that Deepika's character has a lot to do in '83', even though the movie is cantered on Kapil Dev and that amazing match. Her sequences with Ranveer has much significance and Kabir was very pleased with what he saw on his monitor.
While Ranveer would be seen trying out Kapil Dev's position in the movie of the game and his actual-life partner Deepika would now also be seen as his on-screen life partner as she steps into Kapil's wife Romi Dev's role.
It will be the first moment after their wedding that the happy couple would appear in the film stock together.
In addition to Ranveer and Deepika, Kabir Khan also dragged in talents such as Tahir Raj Bhasin, Amrita Puri, Saqib Saleem, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Pankaj Tripathi, Sahil Khattar and Harrdy Sandhu Jatin Sarna, to play main characters in the movie. In the meantime, the sports movie is planned to be released next year on 10th April.

As Sridevi's last movie Mom completes 3 years of its release, Boney Kapoor shares a heartfelt note about the film

Iconic actress Sridevi's last onscreen appearance was in the 2017 film Mom. That was the last time the viewers got a chance to see her on the big screen. In 2018, Sridevi passed away in Dubai due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Today, Mom completes three years of its release. On this occasion, Sridevi's husband and producer Boney Kapoor shared a heartfelt note about the film on social media.

Earlier today, Boney Kapoor took on Twitter to share his thoughts about the film. He tweeted, "How time flies. It’s 3 years since the release of Mom. Will always be remembered for the National award winning performance of @SrideviBKapoor. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, Mom featured Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the other lead roles. The film's story revolves around a mother who seeks revenge for the death of her stepdaughter. Sridevi's performance is the major highlight of this movie. Upon its release, Mom received critical and popular acclaim as well. It went on to become a successful venture at the box office. The film got dubbed into Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam as well. The film got two National Awards. Sridevi won it as the Best Actress and A R Rahman won it in the category of Best Background Score.

Abhishek Bachchan says he doesn't like his old films as he reflects on his career in Bollywood

Abhishek Bachchan is very mindful of the films he picks and chooses to do. Over the past couple of weeks, Junior Bachchan has shared many posts about his career in the Hindi film industry. Abhishek recently completed two decades in Bollywood. The Bol Bachchan actor is also set to make his digital debut recently in Amazon Prime Video's Breathe- Into the Shadows. The actor plays a distraught father as he goes on a hunt to find his missing daughter.

Now in a recent interview with Hindustan Times Abhishek has said that he has evolved a lot in the last two decades. The actor said that he watches all his old films to reflect and learn from them. He said, "I don’t like my work. When I review my work, I find many flaws that need to be rectified. I am not the person who says ‘well done, good job’, I find flaws everywhere. I think there is room for improvement.”
The Ravan actor added saying, "I watch my films almost daily, and I make several notes about how to improve. What is nice is if I go back and review my notes about a film I have seen several times, they keep on changing. This is good news because this means I am evolving as an actor."
Meanwhile Breathe- Into the Shadows also stars Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, and Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles. On the film front, Abhishek Bachchan has various films he will begin work on after lockdown ends. These films include The Big Bull and Bob Biswas.
