Indira Devi, who was also Krishna's wife and Mahesh Babu's mother, passed away on Wednesday morning from age-related ailments. Tollywood celebrities expressed their sympathies to the family on social media and even showed up in person to offer their respects. According to reports, Indira died on Wednesday at four in the morning. Before she passed away, she was apparently ill and being ventilated in a private hospital in the city.
The Padmalaya Studios has been holding her mortal remains. Later on in the day, funeral rites will be performed in Mahaprasthanam. According to a press announcement from the family, Shri Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, the mother of Mahesh Babu and wife of Superstar Krishna, died away this morning. Her body will be available for viewing at the Padmalaya studio starting at 9:00 AM today, and funeral ceremonies will then be conducted at the Mahaprasthan.
A few minutes after the body was delivered to the studio, Krishna was seen arriving there looking sorrowful. Vijay Deverakonda, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Trivikram Srinivas, Koratala Siva, Thaman, and other actors and celebrities were soon seen making their way to the studio to pay their respects to the late Indira Devi.
