Versatile actor Dhanush scored a blockbuster recently with action thriller Asuran. This Vetrimaaran directorial grossed a total of 100 crores at the box office and became one of the biggest hits in the actor's career. From the last couple of days, it is being reported that star hero Daggubati Venkatesh is going to remake it in Telugu.
Suresh Babu will bankroll it along with the original film's producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu. From the moment this news broke out, doubts are raising on the fate of this remake. Asuran featured Dhanush as a 40-year-old man and a 25-year-old lad. The actor got to fit into both the characters perfectly. Dhanush has the advantage of looking young after he shaves off his beard.
Coming to the case of Venkatesh, the actor cannot fit in the 25-year-old role. The makers need to rope in a young actor for that character or change the script to suit Venky. If it is the second case, the film won't work well. Many netizens opined that even though Venky is a brilliant actor, Asuran is a script that doesn't suit him.
