Telugu filmmakers and distributors have come to a conclusion that they will sign an agreement with Amazon Prime not to screen any film within 50 days of its release so that the producers and distributors can make enough money.
However, there is a huge concern of worry for Majili team. When they signed the deal with Amazon Prime, they didn’t mention about the 50 day time frame. This means that Majili will be available on the streaming platform one month after the release.
If the film receives a middling response from the audience, this might come across as a huge issue for the team. Due to the soaring temperatures, people may not prefer the afternoon shows and evenings they will be occupied with IPL.
Also, with the impending elections, the Amazon Prime release will come in handy for the people. Majili team has a chance only if it manages to get overwhelming reviews from the critics and audience.
