Is Ganesh's next film titled Chowkidar?

The term 'Chowkidar' has become synonymous with the BJP in India and now, this will be the title of Ganesh’s upcoming project. Said to be a commercial film, the film's director, Chandrashekar Bandiyappa of 'Rathavara' fame, has clarified that the title and the story have no political inclinations, even though it is hard to ignore. It can be noted that Ganesh's wife is a member of the BJP.

The film will be made under the banner of Fan Fare Entertainment and will see Ganesh in a never-seen-before avatar. In the first half of the film, Ganesh will be seen as his normal self while the latter half, he will be seen as a 55-year-old man. In the meanwhile, Ganesh is gearing up for the release of "Gimmick", which is now in post-production. He will also start dubbing for Vijay Nagendra’s debut directorial "Geetha" which is being made under the actor’s home banner Golden Films, in association with producer Syed Salam.
