Is MMM spending way too much on ‘Dear Comrade’ movie?
Production houses usually have some pre-analyses based on which they tend to spend on their respective movies. The money invested will mainly depend upon the male lead and the combination with the director. On this note, the investments on a film should be quite realistic because many films end up in loss leaving losses to the distributors.
Director Bharat Kamma’s ‘Dear Comrade’ is now the subject for gossips in the film circles with the Mythri Movie Makers spending a bomb on the movie. The production house is said to be pouring out a lot of money on building sets instead of going with the real ones. This is not only increasing the movie budget but is also delaying the shoot. The unit has already postponed the announced release date to avoid the clash with Suriya-starrer 'NGK' in Tamil.
The Rowdie Star’s ‘Geetha Govindam’ has collected about 70+ crores whereas his recent flick Taxiwala made only 21+ crores share in its final run despite the hit talk. On this note, the trade experts opined that the makers should look out for the movie’s budget.
