Akkineni Nagarjuna is one of the top stars in the south. He does different films in his career and has come out with his new film The Ghost, which is an action drama directed by Praveen Sattaru.
Apart from that, he also hosts the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss. The sixth season is currently underway but the TRP ratings of the show have gone down drastically as the contestants are all mostly new faces and are not giving the needed masala.
These low ratings have upset the makers and as per gossip, they are looking beyond Nagarjuna as the host of the seventh season. The star hero has been hosting the show for the last four years and is quite good at it.
Though the OTT viewership of this show has increased, the makers feel that a young star might bring back the popularity of the show once again. The makers are also trying to rope in a star who will first host the OTT version next year.
In the past, NTR and Nani hosted the show and made Bigg Boss a big hit. So, will Nag continue to host the show or some young star will take over, only time will tell.
