If we pick out the most happening heroines of the Telugu film industry, Pooja Hegde will top the list without any doubt. The actress has claimed the top spot by scoring consecutive blockbusters with films like Aravinda Sametha, Maharshi and the latest Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.
Pooja didn't have a dream start to her career as her first two films, Mukunda and Oka Laila Kosam have bombed at the box-office. Later, she went to Bollywood for Mohenjodaro which also turned out to be a disaster. After that, she came back with DJ again and tasted an average.
All these disappointments didn't stop Pooja from getting big offers. She got big offers in films alongside star heroes. All of a sudden, all those films have become blockbusters and raised Pooja to the top level. Her comeback film in Bollywood, Housefull 4 was also a big hit and changed her fate in the North as well.
Pooja is currently busy with the shoot of Akhil Akkineni's film and Prabhas' untitled film. Both these films will hit the screens this year. If they become hits as well, there is no denying in saying that Pooja is the numero uno actress in the Telugu film industry.
