Is Rajinikanth's political career under threat?
After Rajinikanth’s announcement that his party will neither contest nor supports any of the political parties, it not only came to the disappoint for the fans but also received contradictory comments from the critics and fellow politicians.
Amidst this, Kamal Haasan's elder brother & actor Charu Haasan made a statement that Rajinikanth’s announcement of his political party is made in the spur of the moment and that he won't really enter into the active politics. To everyone's surprise he also said that Rajinikanth might regret his decision to join politics though he is in the notion to quit films to focus completely on politics.
He also opined on the political entry of Kamal Haasan, that he might also end up as a failure in his political career. Charu Haasan firmly believes that Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, has made a bad decision and might end up ruining the reputation they earned by entering politics.
The scenarios are obviously different for the film stars who enter the political fraternity. To win an election, they need to have complete knowledge of the political set up. A well-structured plan and organisation are to be laid. One-man-army looks good in films, but in politics, Rajinikanth will have to find capable lieutenants to spread his political vision.
With the revelations made by his brother, Thalaiva’s political career fell into suspicion unless until the fans see him active in the politics. Let us see what is in store for Rajinikanth for the 2021 elections at least.
