Bharat is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It traces the story of India from the pre-independence era to the present time, through the perspective of a common man. Katrina Kaif has played the female lead in it. Disha Patani, Suni Grover and Jackie Shroff have played the other important roles in it. Bharat opened to a mixed response from the critics. However, fans have rejoiced the performance of Salman in various getups. His chemistry with Katrina is also one of the biggest assets of the movie. With a good response from the audiences, Bharat has collected about Rs. 325 crores at the box office.
