It is no time to rest: Mammootty on the coronavirus pandemic

There seems to be no stopping for the COVID-19 spread anytime soon. More than 3.5 million people got affected by the disease in the last two months. Even in India, the situation is not good. But compared to the other countries, India seems to be handling well. One of the Indian states which are handling coronavirus effectively is Kerala. Even though the first case got found in this state, it managed to contain the spread and is handling the pandemic with a lot of strength. All the Keralites are now thanking the government, police officers and doctors, who are doing their bit in stopping the spread of the disease. Star hero Mammootty shared a video the other day, which is an awareness video about the virus. He stated that we gained upper hand in the first stage and we have to do well in this war in the coming days. The actor added that it is no time to rest.

The video describes the digital illustration of Kerala state and the lifestyle of the people over there. We can hear Mammootty's voice-over, explaining about the pandemic. The actor said that we have won the first stage of the pandemic. He further stated that it is no time to rest and we have to fight hard to handle the situation. Mammootty also thanked the doctors and medical workers who are working day and night during these tough times. He said, "Kerala is quite indebted to every warrior who is fighting in this situation. It is the duty of every citizen to abide by the rules of the government and to follow the instructions of the medical officers.
