It's been quite some time since King Nagarjuna delivered a successful film at the box office. He was last seen in Ghost, directed by Praveen Sattaru. While the movie had good expectations on it, it turned out to be disappointing upon its release. Ghost was released last year, and Nag is yet to okay his next project. At the time of Ghost's release, it was said that Nag was in talks with director Mohan Raja for a film. Mohan Raja is the director of Godfather. This film did not materialize. It is now being said that Nag has okayed Prasanna Kumar's script.

Prasanna Kumar made a good impact with his latest film, Dhamaka. While he did not direct the film, he is the writer of the story. The story that the writer penned for Nag reportedly includes a key character, which is said to be played by Allari Naresh. Naresh is currently doing interesting and versatile characters and is said to have been picked up for the role as the makers felt he was the right choice for the same. More details about the film are still awaited, and it is also still unclear if Prasanna Kumar will be directing the film. Prasanna Kumar's film, Dhamaka, was directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. The film featured Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the led role, while Sree Leela is the leading lady. The movie opened to good reviews from everywehre, and even turned out to be a massive commercial success. The songs of the movie have become a massive hit as well.
