Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy seems to be in trouble, as the AP government rejected the permission for the pre-release event.
The senior actor delivered the biggest hit of his career towards the end of 2021, in the form of Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu. Balakrishna has been on a success streak since then, with his talk show on Aha being a superhit as well. He also is teaming up with popular directors for his future films, like Gopichand Malineni and Anil Ravipudi.
Balayya is currently getting ready for the release of Veera Simha Reddy, directed by Gopichand Malineni. Gopichand last directed Krack, featuring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead role, which was released in early 2021. The film turned out to be a massive hit. There are very good expectations for Veera Simha Reddy, which is going to release for Sankranthi, on 12th January.
The pre-release event for the film was supposed to take place in Ongole. The government of Andhra Pradesh did not permit the event. That was because of the recent incidents that took place in the state. This has now become a big problem for the makers of Veera Simha Reddy. They are now expected to complete the event in Hyderabad itself.
Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of Veera Simha Reddy, which also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a key role. The sequences between these two are said to be the major highlights of the film. Thaman is the music director of the film. The songs of the film have already impressed the audience.
