James Gunn express gratitude for Kevin Feige in latest tweets

While referring to the original Guardians of the Galaxy films, director James Gunn expressed gratitude towards Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon. In a series of tweets, Gunn revealed his anxiety during the process of writing the first intergalactic Marvel film. Featuring relatively obscure characters from the Marvel comics. The cast was Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper.

The film is well received by both the audience and the critics alike.

Gunn spoke in his tweets about how worried he was on the success of the first film. He was unsure whether his kind of humour would go well with the audience. Revealing his interactions with the Marvel head, Kevin Feige, who asked Gunn to be fearless in his writing. Something that paid off well for Gunn himself as well the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

James Gunn is now busy helping DC reboot their "Suicide Squad” film. It was a complete failure when it’s released back in 2016.

If other sources are correct, Gunn will also handle the third Guardians of the Galaxy film when it’s scheduled to start production.
