Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of the late actress Sridevi and an Indian film producer Boney Kapoor, she has been last seen in Karan Johar's movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, playing the role of the first Indian women Air Force pilots. Janhvi Kapoor signed a new project with Siddharth Sengupta as director and Anand L rai as producer under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions, in which she will reprise the role of the actress Nayanatara, in a 2018 hit remake movie Kolamavu Kokila.
Kolamavu Kokila is a 2018 Tamil black comedy crime film written and directed by debutant Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Lyca Productions. The movie is the story of a girl who tries hard to support her family and gets herself trapped in a cocaine smuggling business to earn quick money. The story revolves around the questions like, How she overcomes her obstacles? Will she come out of the racket? Will she get entangled in it? Which makes the film worth watching.
The movie will be Siddharth Sengupta's directorial debut. He previously worked as an assistant director in films like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Agneepath, and Heartless and co-directed a mini-series The Great Escape with the other two directors in 2016.
