‘Jersey is a must-watch movie’: Lawrence in the ‘Kanchana 3’ success meet
A tough fight between the movies released at the same time is quite a common thing in the film fraternity. With IPL semi-finals falling by and Mahesh’s most anticipated ‘Maharshi’ releasing, the makers have rushed the releases in April. Though there seems to be some gap between ‘Chitalahari’ and ‘Majili’, two other films ‘Kanchana 3’ and ‘Jersey’ has hit the theatres on the same day. Both the films have garnered decent talk while there is a difference in the collections at the box-office.
In the success meet of ‘Kanchana 3’, the director and the main lead of the film has made few statements which grabbed the attention of media and film world. He appealed to the audience to go and watch ‘Jersey’ also. “I have watched the film yesterday. It is really very good and is a must-watch movie. Hero Nani acted to his best,” he added.
Talking about his film, Lawrence said, "Fans sent me messages that they have watched the film twice and thrice but I tend to watch my films a 100 times before releasing it. I want to make sure that the film entertains the audience. I worked for 2 years on the film and it made me happy to see such a response. I am thankful for each and everyone who watched and encouraged us. Soon, we will come up with a new story to take the franchise forward!''  added Lawrence.
On the other hand, trade experts revealed that the horror-comedy would soon hit the 100 crores mark.
