Juhi Chawla Speaks About Equation With Khan Family And Signing Aaryan’s Surety

Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla has spoken out about signing a bond worth Rs 1 lakh for Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. In a recent interview, she revealed that it was an unexpected situation, but she thought it was the right thing to do. She said that she wanted to be there for Aryan when he needed her help. Aryan was jailed in a drug case in October 2021 and was later acquitted, with Juhi acting as his surety.

Juhi also spoke about Shah Rukh Khan, with whom she co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team. During a recent match, their film Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani's title track was played, which surprised her. She said that if she had known that people would still remember the film after 23 years, she would have done some things differently. Shah Rukh responded by saying that the song struck a chord with the audience because it came from a place of innocence. Juhi mentioned that she rarely gets to see Shah Rukh, and her husband Jay Mehta is more in touch with him than she is. The actress has worked with Shah Rukh in several films such as Darr, Yes Boss, Duplicate and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. She was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video thriller series Hush Hush alongside Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra, Karishma Tanna and Shahana Goswami. After signing the bond for Aryan Khan, Juhi had expressed her relief and happiness for the Khan family. Aryan's lawyer had also confirmed that Juhi was his surety and her name was on his passport and Aadhaar card.
