Rana Daggubati has become a pan-Indian actor by doing straight films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. After a long time, Rana is coming back with the pan-Indian film Haathi Mere Saathi, directed by Prabhu Solomon. The Telugu title of this film is Aranya and the Tamil title of the film is Kaadan. This marks the comeback of Rana in Tamil after almost three years. The actor says that Kaadan will be the first proper release in Tamil in his career.
Speaking in a recent interview, Rana said that he was always inclined to Chennai by meeting directors and listening to scripts. Rana used to have his own house in Chennai which he rented out. Now, he took back the house and staying there whenever he is in town. He says that hotel isn't his thing and now, he can stay at his home and listen to the scripts. Rana stated that Kaadan needed a director from Tamil Nadu, an actor from Hyderabad and a production house from Mumbai to make it happen.
Rana is pretty much happy with the end product and is hoping that the viewers will also fall in love with the film. Kaadan features Vishnu Vishal in another important role. It hits the theatres on April 2.
If the film becomes a big hit, Rana will get more chances in Tamil and the actor is looking forward to tell some gripping tales to the audiences, without any language barrier. Let us hope that the film becomes a big hit.
