Kalank Teaser review: Visual extravaganza
The much-anticipated teaser of the multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ was finally released on the official YouTube channel of FoxStar Hindi. With its grandeur and stellar star cast, the teaser reminded the netizens of one of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s zoners of movies.
Seems like being one of the producers for Baahubali has influenced Karan Johar to go with a high budget family drama. This made it evident that directors are not even giving a second thought to invest in the films to make it as grand as possible.
Helmed by Abhishek Varman, the teaser showed Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. The two-minute video features the entire cast of the film in a 1940s setup. The drama between the characters, action scenes framed on Varun Dhawan, grand sets are the main attractions for this periodic film. Though the plot is not revealed the movie will no doubt be an eye-feast to the audience.
Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri have worked together for the first time in 21 years. The film also features Varun and Alia for a fourth time after Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. However, Kalank will soon be released on April 17.
