Kamal Haasan launches digital poster of a short film Yashoda under Sri Priya direction; Check out his appreciation post on Twitter

With lockdown in effect, it has been hard on the entertainment industry to get through the days. As many say, it is hard to be creative when locked up in a single space, without any other access and a few film personalities like directors, actors, writes said that they are conducting retrospective of their favorites and going through literature. While a few of them are trying to film with the properties and equipment available with them at the location they are accessible. Looks like actress Sripriya did the same. Within the lockdown, she made a short film, titled 'Yashoda', which she shot on her iPhone. This short film is made with Sivaji’s Grandson Shivakumar. Kamal Haasan released a digital poster of this short film yesterday.

He took up to his social media handles and release te digital posted, and wrote "Yashoda, a short film by @sripriya together with @nasser_kameela and @shivakumarr222 is shot on mobile. Edited by Reuben with BGM by Krish and sung by Nritya Pillai, it is an interesting attempt. I am happy to release the first look of "Yashodha" and look forward to seeing it." Actress Sripriya is a close associate of Kamal Haasan. Sri Priya is also a Core Committee Member of 'Makkal Needhi Maiam', a political party founded by Kamal Haasan. She has also directed around 5 feature films. Her Telugu directorial debut was 2014 Telugu blockbuster film 'Drushyam', starring Daggubati Venkatesh and Meena. The film is a remake of Malayalam film with the same title.
