Kamal Haasan is overwhelmed as his recently released film Vikram is having an exceptional run in theatres. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the actor shared screen space with Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya in the film. As the film crossed Rs 175 crore worldwide, Kamal Haasan took to social media to share a thank-you note to the team members and fans in five languages.
Kamal Haasan said, "The fans of Tamil cinema have never missed to appreciate good, quality films, including talented and quality actors as well. We are privileged that the audience have choosen 'Vikram' as well in that list. It is only correct that the appreciation is split among everyone involved in the film, inlcuding Anirudh, Girish Gangadharan, editor Philomin Raj, Anbariv, Sathish Kumar and all the othersVijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Chemban Vinod and the powerful cast of the film is one of the main reasons for the film's success. Actor Suriya, who came only for the last few minutes of the film and made the fans go crazy, did it only for the love he has. I am hoping to show my gratitude in the film that we are planing to do together next. The love that director Lokesh Kanagaraj has on me and and on cinema was evident on each day of film making and in each frame of the film as well. The fan's love is also exactly the same way."
