According to reports, he also said that, in accordance with the timetable of DCP Raghavan's career in the movie, he will be retired at this point and that the plot will begin with how he is once again summoned to return for duty. He hinted that Kamal Haasan will portray a retired police officer who would return to duty to work a case in the movie.
