It was recently reported that Tamil film Aadai, which starred Amala Paul, will be remade in Hindi. Directed by Rathnakumar, the film received critical acclaim throughout Tamil Nadu. Though they appreciated the film’s effort, there were flaws as well.
Rathnakumar confirmed that he will be wielding the megaphone in the Hindi remake as well. There were strong rumors that Kangana Ranaut
will play the lead role and that the makers have initiated the talks.
The Hindi remake rights of Aadai purchased by Mukesh Bhatt. Now, a press release has confirmed that the makers had never approached Kangana Ranaut in the first place and added that she is not a part of the Hindi remake.
Aadai follows the story of Kamini who is a free-spirited girl. She gets the shock of her life when she wakes up completely naked in an empty building after celebrating her birthday party there. The film addressed several topical issues.
