Kangana is currently preoccupied with the 'Emergency' shooting. According to reports, the Bollywood actress has asked the Lok Sabha Secretariat for permission to film the upcoming movie on Parliament premises.
According to a report by Indian Express, she was reported as writing a letter to the Lok Sabha Secretariat. According to a source who provided details to PTI, private entities often are not given the authorization to film or take pictures inside Parliament premises. The situation is different if it is being done for official or government activity. They continued by saying that the only state broadcasters permitted to film shows or events within Parliament are Doordarshan and Sansad TV. There are no rules to allow a private party to film within the House of Representatives for personal purposes.
Returning to the movie, production began in July of this year. Kangana has begun filming in Mumbai. It is in its final schedule. Kangana has regularly shared its hooting update from her social media handle.
Kangana uploaded a post in September. In the post, she discussed how she had prepared for the role of prominent Indian leader Indira Gandhi. “In such a blank beat you wonder where did you lose yourself….. You dissolve in the character and find that nothing of you is left in you. You see your own pictures like a stranger and wonder if will you ever be the same….. The truth is you can never go back to being the same person. Once a character has happened to you it remains like a scar on the soul,” a part of her caption read.
Kangana is wearing the hats of the film's producer and director. She is also the lead actress in the movie. Emergency has not yet been given a release date.
