Kangana Ranaut slams Congress
Known for venting out her mind with bold comments, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again hit the headlines with her stern statements on Congress after casting her vote in Mumbai on Monday. By taking a dig at the opposition which was in ruling back then, the actress has triggered controversies in both political and Bollywood fraternities.
Speaking to media journalists after exercising her vote Kangana said that it was a very important day which comes once in five years. “It is our responsibility to exercise our right. Our country will achieve its real independence today. Our country which was once in the clutches of Moguls, Britishers and Italians in the past got its real freedom by giving the voting right to the public,” said the ‘Manikarnika’ actress.
She then lashed out on Congress party saying, “While the nation was suffering from rapes, poverty and pollution, all the Congress politicians were chilling in London during their period. Keeping this in mind, it is now time that we go vote in large numbers for New India.” It is already a known fact that Kangana is an ardent supporter for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
