Kangana Ranaut vows to return her Padma Shri if her claims about Sushant Singh's death are proven false; Read on

Kangana Ranaut is known for being a firebrand in Bollywood as she doesn't shy away from calling a spade a spade. She has many times challenged the malpractices by many biggies in the industry but after Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide, she has come out openly stronger than ever. Kangana in her previous videos had blamed Bollywood mafia groups and media's blind items behind Sushant's depression.

In her recent interview with a learning news portal, she vowed to return her Padma Shri if her claims are proven wrong. She said, "They (Mumbai Police) summoned me, and I asked them too, that I’m in Manali, that you can send somebody to take my statement, but I have not received anything after that. I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can’t testify, which I can’t prove, and which is not in the public domain, I will return my Padma Shri,” Kangana said. “I don’t deserve it. I am not that person who will go on record (to make such statements), and everything that I have said is in the public domain."

She also raised certain questions surrounding his death and said, "Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has shaken us but there are people who are running a parallel narrative and saying that he committed suicide because he was depressed. How can a person’s mind be weak if he holds ranks in engineering entrances?" Meanwhile, the public is demanding a CBI probe in Sushant's case, including his own girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who personally requested Amit Shah for the same. However, no latest update about the appointment of CBI has been made yet. Stay tuned with Xappie for more latest updates on Bollywood.
