Kannada actress Suman Ranganath has been busy shooting for her upcoming film, Petromax. She called the recent schedule of Petromax quite refreshing. She will be seen as Subbalakshmi from Chitradurga. Suman told Times of India, "Subbalakshmi lives and works in an ashram and is one of the most subtle roles I’ve played in my life. She’s disinterested in life because life has treated her that way. Yet she smiles through it all. When Vijay Prasad sir, who I absolutely enjoy working with, offered me this role and told me that I will have to appear three shades darker than my actual complexion sans makeup, I jumped at the opportunity.
