Head Bush crew will begin shooting the film on Monday. Dhananjaya, who plays the lead role in Head Bush, is producing the film with Somanna Talkies. This is after Ashu Bedra withdrew from the project. Shoonya directs the film along with Agni Sridhar writing the script for the film. The film is based on the life of Bengaluru’s first underworld don MP Jayaraj.
Because the film is set in the 1960s and 1980s, the producers wanted to shoot in Mysuru and Kolar to create a period-appropriate atmosphere. The team finished the shooting of Jayaraj's childhood segments. Akash played the character of MP Jayaraj’s childhood. Guttahalli was the location for the shooting of the sequences so far.
Dhananjaya is bulking to fully immerse himself in the role. The music director is Charaj Raj, while the cinematographer is Karm Chawla. The film will be released in two parts, marking Dhananajaya's second endeavor as a producer.
The film is Agni Shreedar’s upcoming wok after a four-year break from writing scripts. Agni Sridhar wrote stories for Kannada films such as Aa Dinagalu, Edegarike, Slum Bala, and Kiragoorina Gayyaliga
Many producers and directors, including Ram Gopal Varma and Tamil director Anand, have requested Agni Sridhar to come back to films. He refused it all since he was busy writing books. However, he finally agreed to write the script for Shoonya.
