After the disastrous debacle of Thugs of Hindostan, Mr. perfectionist Aamir Khan is taking a two-year gap to come up with his new film Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, this film is heavily based on the Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump. The movie is currently is in the midway of its shoot.
Already, the first look of Aamir got revealed a couple of months back and received a good response from the audience. Now, on the occasion of Valentines' Day, the makers have unveiled the first look poster of heroine Kareena Kapoor Khan. The poster featured Kareena hugging Aamir. Her look with Bindi gave a nice homely touch and this is by far her best look in the recent past. She pins many hopes on the success of this film.
This is Kareena's third film with Aamir Khan after 3 idiots and Talaash. Their super-hit pairing has also become one of the major factors for the increase of expectations on it. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is also playing a key role in this movie. It marks the Hindi debut of Sethupathi. Popular actor Atul Kulkarni has written the adapted screenplay of this movie. Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios are jointly producing this project. Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the screens during Christmas this year.
