Kareena Kapoor opens up about her break up with Shahid Kapoor during Jab We Met

Kareena Kapoor Khanand Shahid Kapoor were in a serious relationship before their film Jab We Met. The two were very open about their relationship and their fans expected them to get married. However, due to some personal reasons, they both parted ways after the film and moved on with their respective lives. During an interview with a web portal, Kareena opened up about the breakup with Shahid. She said that destiny had its own plan and life took its own path. She also told that Shahid was the one who convinced her to do the role of 'Geet' as it would suit her personality.

Talking further, Kareena said that she was very excited about working in Tashan. She had lost a lot of weight for the film and thought that it would become the career-changing film for her. However, it didn't work out that well for her career but actually changed her life. She said that she's glad she did the film and met Saif Ali Khan during that time. Meeting Saif has changed her life and now they are very happy along with their little son Taimur Ali Khan. Similarly, Shahid Kapoor is also happily married now. He got married to Mira Rajput and has two children with her. The couple post adorable family pictures on their social media handles. Misha and Zain are the names of their kids.
