When the biopic season is currently going on, so many rumors regarding the biopic on female wrestler Karnam Malleswari also came out which has now become a hot topic in the industry.
Though we have been hearing the same rumors from the past two years, as per the latest reports, the biopic finally went into the compound of senior scriptwriter and producer Kona Venkat who is now planning to make a film out of that. Karnam Malleswari who hails from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh is the first Indian woman to become the Olympic medal winner. According to the buzz, Kona Venkat is going to bankroll this biopic on her who is a bronze medalist at the 2000 Olympics and Rajiv Khel Ratna awardee. It seems like both Kona Venkat and Karnam Malleswari have met a few times regarding this project and both of them are excited and looking forward to the film. As Karnam Malleswari is a known personality all over India, the makers are planning to release the film in multiple languages including Hindi.
Kona Venkat is currently in search of a director from Tollywood or Bollywood to helm this prestigious project. Also, it won't be easy for any actress to reprise Karnam Malleswari. So, we have to wait and see who is going to portray her role in the film.
