Karnataka CM lashes out at KGF star
Kannada actor Yash is no longer a local star. With his recent blockbuster ‘KGF’ he gained nation-wide popularity and cinephiles are waiting for his next films. Amidst this, Yash coming out in support to Sumalatha, Ambareesh's wife who is contesting as the independent candidate from Mandya Lok Sabha segment, which has irked the ruling party leaders.
Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is apparently not happy with the emerging superstar supporting Sumalatha. In the election campaigning at Mandya, the CM has made sharp comments on the actor. He then took the reference of the producers in Karnataka supporting the actors. “I see some actors campaigning against our party but I have sent messages to my cadres to stay silent. These actors should remember that it was the producers like us who invest in them. Their career will not move forward, without producers like us,” added Kumaraswamy.
The Chief Minister also asked the party supporters not to believe everything seen on the silver screen. He further questioned where were the actors when farmers committed suicide. The KGF star who is quite busy with films and campaigning is yet to respond to these comments passed by the CM.
