They posted the first image online. Well wishes have been flooding in for them. Karthi is the latest one who wished the celebrity couple. He sent a bouquet with a note to them. Vignesh Shivan shared the picture of the bouquet from Karthi and wrote "Thank u @Karthi_offl so much sir Really sweet & thoughtful of u" Karthi and Nayanthara have worked together on the film 'Kashmora' which was released in 2016.

The pregnancy has also lead to several controversies now. Ma. Subramaniam is the minister for Tamil Nadu's health and family welfare. He was asked if Nayanthara-Vignesh Sivan used a surrogate mother.
